History has shown that giving power and responsibility to one person can cause excessive stress that leads to moral breakdown. The story of David’s sexual immorality with Bathsheba is a prime example of this problem. We believe that building up communities that distribute roles and responsibilities reduces stress and fosters healthy accountability. I.G. can serve as an external accountability for blatant moral breakdown, but we know the true strength of community its dependency on the Holy Spirit and it’s corporate drive to pursue Jesus.
